Description | As of September 2, 2022, this project has been awarded. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Town of Queen Creek, Arizona will receive sealed Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Manager @ Risk (CMAR) for East Park. It is the Town of Queen Creek's intent to enter into a preconstruction services and construction services contract with a qualified construction manager/general contractor to construct CIP Project P0625 East Park. The project is located between 220th Street and Signal Butte Road, south of Ryan Road in Queen Creek, AZ. This project consists of the construction of a +/-90-acre park, which includes a +/-5-acre lake with water line from well to pump house, lighted baseball and multi-purpose fields, lighted basketball, pickle ball and/or tennis courts, and volleyball courts, splash pad, and playground areas. Additional conceptual amenities include pathways with fitness pods, amphitheater with stage, maintenance yard, restrooms and concessions buildings, hardscape, landscape, irrigation, street and area lights, related site improvements, a primary circulation drive, park driveways, parking lots, approximately 1000 feet of Ryan Road collector half street, and certain Signal Butte Road improvements. The qualified firm will also provide certain construction and coordination services for the dry and wet utilities serving the proposed park improvements and adjacent town owned property. These utilities will include electric, gas, water, sewer, telecommunication, Town fiber optic network, and private irrigation. Questions DUE April 13, 2022 by 5:00 p.m This solicitation does not include the construction of a future aquatic and multi-generational center that is to be located within a portion of the site in the future. All final construction contracts that may arise from this solicitation will be guaranteed maximum price (GMP) contracts. The project may require multiple GMP contracts to complete the construction in the time frames required Each Response shall be in accordance with specifications and instructions contained therein. The Town of Queen Creek reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses and to waive informalities. The Town of Queen Creek's estimated budget for design and construction of the Park improvements is $62,000,000. |
