LAWA Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)

As of December 12, 2022, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of fiber optic communication modification, changeable message sign (CMS) installation, traffic signal modification, and signing and striping installation. Fiber-optic communication modification shall consist of but is not limited to fiber optic cable, fiber optic splicing; conduit, CCTV, and communication hub installation. Changeable message sign installation shall consist of but not limited to CMS board, structure, pole and foundation and service and communication cabinet installation. Traffic signal modification shall consist of but not limited to traffic signal pole, conduit and wiring, signal cabinet, and service cabinet and curb ramp removal and installation. Signing and striping installation shall consist of but not limited to striping removal and installation and signing removal and installation. The contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, testing, and manufactured articles, and for furnishing all transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Specifications, Drawings, schedules, and other Contract Documents, as herein before defined, all of which are made a part hereof, and including such detail sketches as may be furnished by the Engineer from time to time during construction in explanation of said Drawings. This bid is based upon completing the work within the contract construction period of one hundred eighty (180) working days following Notice to Proceed with Construction. Upon receiving confirmation of the scheduled delivery date of the equipment, the Notice to Proceed with Construction will be issued thirty (30) calendar days before the scheduled arrival of the equipment on site. The product submittals shall be submitted within ten (10) working days from the date set forth in the Notice to Proceed with Procurement and all required resubmittals shall be submitted within ten (10) working days of receipt of comments from the City. Notice to Proceed with Procurement will be issued upon execution of the Contract.
