Sealed Qualification Packets addressed to Omaha Public Schools Schoolhouse Planning, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the "OPS Wilson Focus Elementary Roof Top Unit Replacement -Bid No: P0024-23", for the Omaha Public Schools, hereinafter called the "District" will be received in the office of District Purchasing Department, Omaha Public Schools, 3215 Cuming St, Omaha, NE 68131, until 2:00 PM, CST, Thursday, April 20, 2023. The project also includes required structural modifications and roofpatching. Bids are to be completed on the bid form contained in the Bid Documents. A copy ofthe bid with original signatures by the bidder, and including all required information, attachments and exhibits, including an original bid bond as required in Section 1.2, are to be submitted to the District in accordance with the requirements ofthe Bid Documents Any questions or request for interpretation ofthese Bid Documents should be emailed to: Questions_Clarifications_l@ops.or Questions regarding the Bid Documents and the bid procedures and requirements must be submitted by email on or before by FRIDAY, APRIL 7, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. CST. The work called forin these Bid Documents includes replacing three (3) existing RoofTop Units (RTUs) with new RTUs and associated piping, duct work and electrical modifications. The Contractor will fiimish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to provide a completed project as outlined in the Contract Documents. In general, all materials and equipment to be furnished by Contractor must be of good quality, new and unused, and shall be constructed and installed as required in the Contract Documents and ofthe types ofequipment and materials as specified It is the Contractor's responsibility to protect existing construction. In addition, daily removal ofdebris and repair ofany damage due to work underthis Contract is consideredwithin the scope ofwork and is the responsibility ofthe Contractor. All work for the Project shall be performed by Contractor. Work shall not be subcontracted. All work must be done in accordance with best trade practices using qualified workmen. All work shall be performed in a mannerthat does not void any manufacturer's warranty All engineering work and plan preparations for shop drawings and other Contractor submittals shall be the responsibility ofthe Contractor, who shall utilize qualified and licensed engineers for such work.
