Description | The work includes furnishing all equipment, materials, methods, labor and performing all operations required for the replacement of the two (2) unwatering pumps, three (3) station drainage pumps and all associated piping, valves, valve operators, supports, wiring, controls and associated equipment and enclosures within the unwatering and drainage sumps at Harry S. Truman Project. Contractor shall field verify all measurements, system operation and controls, and obtain the services of the pump manufacturer's Field Representative. If exercised in CLIN 0003, a ready service spare station drainage pump shall also be provided with all fittings and accessories pre-installed and ready for installation. The work also includes new discharge riser piping for submersible pumps and incidental related work. Controls and monitoring will be integrated into the existing SCADA network by others, but must be fully cyber compliant, functional as a stand alone system, and with connection points to allow further integration at a later date. This work will also include modifications as required to enlarge the openings as indicated on the drawings. This must include new removable covers for the enlarged openings and preparation of the edges to allow for a recessed cover plate or grating similar to the existing condition. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District (NWK), intends to issue a solicitation for construction services. This solicitation is for offers for a Firm Fixed-Price Single Award to replace station drainage and unwatering system, Truman Dam Powerhouse, Truman Lake, MO. This is a full and open solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about 8 August 2022 on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov, and proposals will be due within 30 days from issuance of the solicitation. The NAICS code that will apply to projects under these contracts will be NAICS 237110 (Water and Sere Line and Related Construction) The Size standard is $39.5 million. The Government will award one contract under this solicitation. This estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Work will be performed at Truman Lake Powerhouse, MO. Interested offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the SAM internet web-site at https://sam.gov/content/home. If the offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity must have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM data base, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective offeror.
