Description

The project consists of the construction of a 12-foot wide minimum and 14-foot wide maximum concrete multi-use trail running from Tapestry Development to Osceola Parkway tying into the Tapestry Connector Trail on the Southern end and the North Phase 2D Osceola Parkway pedestrian bridge on the Northern end for a total length of approximately 5,646 feet (1.07 miles). The trail also contains 14-foot wide boardwalk sections totaling an approximate length of 823 feet (0.16 mile). Trail construction items include a 4-inch thick (typical) concrete trail with a thickened edge and fiber reinforcement, fence construction, fence gates, gravity wall, retaining wall, signing and pavement markings, and pedestrian railing. All pedestrian features are to adhere to current ADA standards. Drainage improvements include constructing mitered end sections, new piping as well as ditch regrading and concrete flumes. Trail amenities include animal proof trash receptacles, a rest shelter, pet waste station, pedestrian benches, and a concrete pad for the rest shelter.
