Description | Construction of Phase 3 Tunnels and Shafts is currently underway and is expected to be completed by July 2019. Phase 4 will begin upon demobilization of Phase 3 construction located on the project site, currently scheduled for mid-2018. The proposed project includes the construction of the wet well for large stormwater pumps and the triple box culvert outfall into the Ashley River and includes the following major components: Pump Station Wet Well and Outfall A 55 foot x 135 foot cast in place concrete structure 33 feet below grade to house three 66 inch diesel pumps (5th Phase). Foundations will include concrete piling support. Installation of Bar Screens, Dewatering and Desilting Pumps, including electrical and controls. A concrete outfall consisting of 3 parallel 8-ft x 10-ft box culverts approximately 550 feet long and below grade, installed in the Ashley River. | ||||||
