Description

Onsite Wastewater Nutrient Removal System The total work for the project consists of the purchase and installation of seven (7) septic and drainfield systems including the following: MicroFast units from BIOMICROBICS, new septic tanks, abandonment of existing septic tanks, and complete replacement of existing drainfield The work also includes installation of one (1) low pressure sewer system including E-ONE grinder pump station, horizontal directional drilled service line, and connection to existing low pressure sewer system. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a copy of certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. A copy of the certified check must be attached to the bid proposal in e-builder. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest single lump sum/unit cost price proposal, with consideration of any Alternate(s) accepted by the FKAA. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the Contract, as prescribed in the Contract Documents. All bid bonds, contract bonds, insurance contracts, and certificates of insurance shall be either executed by or countersigned by a licensed resident agent of the surety or insurance company having his place of business in the State of Florida, and in all ways complying with the insurance laws of the State of Florida. Further, the said surety or insurance company shall be duly licensed and qualified to do business in the State of Florida. In order to perform public work, the successful Bidder shall hold or obtain such Contractors' and Business Licenses as required by State Statutes.
