Description | The Quote documents will be available at www.WashCoPurch.com/biz Respondents are responsible for checking the site for any addenda to the quote documents before submitting their quotes to the site. Quotes are due no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 6, 2023; the system does not allow for late submissions. The estimated expense for this contract will be NO VALUE. Quotes must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120(1)(b). The County may reject any quote not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all quotes upon a finding of the County it is in the public interest to do so. Washington County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities in the best interest of the County. Respondents are solely responsible for ensuring receipt of their quote by the Procurement Division. Respondents must conform to the requirements of these quote documents and all related, applicable laws. The County does not intend to pre-qualify any respondents for this project. All quotes submitted for this project will be considered provided that they meet the criteria set forth in the quote documents with respect to submission in a timely manner, bonding, and all other applicable. Contractor scope to include but is not limited to permitting, demolition of existing ceilings, repair and/or installation of new drop ceilings. Contractor's hourly rate to include all labor, supplies, equipment, tools, disposal costs, vehicle fees, mileage, and overhead. Contractor is expected to perform renovations upon request at all County owned and lease locations throughout the duration of this contracting period. If permit by City is required Contractor can request 5% mark-up via email for Contract Administrator approval. Demolition/disposal or salvage/reuse scope of services to include the removal of existing 2 x 4 ceiling tiles and in best interest of County try to salvage non-damaged tiles. Contractor to remove all sprinkler caps in area with hidden sprinkler heads to save and reinstall. Contractor to support speakers, lights, fire alarm devices, HVAC diffusers, HVAC vents/registers, exit signs, and safely attach to red iron while preparing for a new installation. Contractor to salvage any usable grid system during demolition and confirm with Contract Administrator best option to reuse. New installation scope of services to include Contractor furnishing and installing new drop ceiling grid and tile system per current building code requirements. Contractor to conduct walk through prior to all jobs requested by Contract Administrator. Contractor to use code required heavy duty fire rated wall anchors for perimeter grid installation. Contractor to install code required tile hanger wire for ceiling grid for red-iron hanging and for concrete installation work. Contractor to furnish and install like for like ceiling tiles to include but not limited to 2 x 4 tiles, 2 x 2 tiles and custom tiles. Contractor and Contract Administrator to agree on tile size, color or details for custom tiles in advance of Contractor ordering. Contractor to cut out and re-install sprinkler heads, HVAC diffusers, HVAC vents/registers and existing light fixtures. Contractor is responsible for providing all scaffolding, lifts, or ladders as required for the installation of each job. Contractor to arrange with Contract Administrator to work after hours when installing grids within noise sensitive work areas in advance of Contractor staff arriving to work. Contractor staff to clean up at the end of each work day and store all tiles yet to be installed in a location designated by Contract Administrator. If Contractor staff fail to clean up at end of work day. Contract Administrator will charge Contractor cost to have janitorial/general service aides clean up work space |
