Description | QA Deadline - 2/24/2023 4:00 PM Project No. #MO-20-03-107, M22-122, AEO-22130,9079-22-1-PA BID Identification Accessibility & Connectivity Improvements - Pottstown Steel River Station The project will be awarded under One (1) prime contract for platform extensions, stair and ramp systems and paved areas and walkways. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. The contract is subject to the requirements for affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunity. (Executive Order 11246). Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier check, or a bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, as well as a Maintenance Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the owner. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
