Any proposed equivalent must meet all the following requirements: (1) Tamper proof unit. (2) Sealed 10-year lithium battery. (3) Photoelectric, ion, or ion/photoelectric. (4) Must meet or exceed the requirements of the Maryland Smoke Alarm Law, Public Safety Article Sections 9-101 through 9-DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS: A.
