Description All service line valves and fittings covered by the latest revision of AWWA C-800 shall be high pressure (section 3.3) unless otherwise specified. High-pressure service line valves and fittings shall be suitable for use with water at 100 degree F (380C) and 150-psig (1050-kpa) pressure. All meter coupling tailpieces and nuts and companion flanges shall be brass and comply with the latest revision of AWWA C-700.
