Beste Reconstruction and Water Main Replacement

The work under this Contract also includes all the work required to rehabilitate by open cut repair the main line sanitary sewers which have collapsed, failed, or are otherwise obstructed. The project shall include reconnection of leads to the mainline, pavement removal and replacement and complete restoration of all disturbed areas. This project (as identified by the plan) involves the open cut rehabilitation of sewers in continual use. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that the rehab operations do not interfere with the functioning of the sewer. In the event that work is suspended due to a rainfall event, no payment will be made in addition to the normal unit prices.
