Curbs, Paving (Trail Paving), Construction, Sidewalks/Curbs/Gutters, Erosion Control - Temporary, Landscaping Description: The work for which bids are asked includes approximately the following: O'Neill Creek Trailhead o Erosion control including turbidity barrier. o Tree grubbing o Riprap and boulder landscape river bank stabilization o Shoreline Boulder steps o Excavation and grading o Restroom Building with associated utilities and Court Street Repair o Parking lot improvements including base aggregate, curb &gutter and asphalt o Bio-Infiltration basin and Underdrain o Concrete edging and preparation of base for playground and fitness equipment o Site Electrical Installation o 10 Foot wide multi-use trail o Concrete sidewalks o Landscaping and park amenities o Site restoration o Coordination with owner on work provided by owner. o Additive Alternate for Additional Parking Lot Reconstruction and Paving The anticipated substantial completion date is November 1, 2022 and final completion date is June 1, 2023. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Dan Borchardt, 146 North Central Avenue, Ste. 201, Marshfield, WI 54449. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Project Estimate is range for the base bid is $375,000-$400,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates.
