District 7 (Fleet) - Generator Replacement

a. Contractor to complete turnkey replacement of 150KW - 3 Phase - 120/208VDiesel Powered - Air Cooled - Generator with brand new of same kind and capacity: Katolight, or PBC approved equal. b. A temporary 150KW emergency generator shall be provided during switch-over to ensure continuous power while construction is underway. c. Replace fuel lines with stainless steel from treatment system to new generator. d. Modify fan shroud, mounting pad, and battery tender outlets/conduits as needed to accommodate new configuration. e. Provide and install new 500A disconnect, muffler, exhaust pipe with insulation, block heater, and vibration eliminators. f. Tie new generator to existing transfer switch, alarm, and monitoring systems reuse of existing conductors will be acceptable where applicable. g. The generator will be tested by simulating a power outage and observation of auto start and transfer with project manager present before substantial completion.
