SCOPE OF WORK: The work to be performed under this contract consists of excavating existing pavement material, repairing base failures as needed by replacing with Type II aggregate and re-compacting the subgrade materials, and placing new 3" or 5" asphalt concrete pavement on the top of various residential streets within Clark County. In addition, this contract consists of widening existing roadway pavement in various residential rural preservation areas, removing and replacing concrete sidewalk panels, curb & gutter, and spandrels/cross gutters at locations where are shown on plans, bringing sidewalk ramps up to ADA Standards, installing drainage curb & valley gutters, reconstruct multiple sidewalk underdrains, storm drain drop-inlet and/or catch basins top slabs and grate openings, adjustment of manholes and water valves among other appurtenances, removing and replacing pavement markings, striping and traffic signs, traffic loops, installation of traffic conduits for loop detections and placement of ITS conduits along 80ft.
