Highridge Family Center - Chiller Replacement

Remove existing two chillers, furnish and install two new, Trane 208VAC, 3Phase, 60HZ Air-cooled Scroll Packaged Chillers. Model# CGAM060A2 or PBC approved equal. See Exhibit “1”. Remove existing chillers and dispose of according to Section 5 of the Project Requirements. Re-attach the existing lightning protection system. Chillers and pumps to be replaced one at a time, so one chiller and pump can operate during construction. Replace existing water flow switches with same type or equal. Replace two closed coupled in line chilled water pumps (B&G series 90 or equivalent). Same design specs as existing equipment. Contractor to reconfigure chilled water piping to new chillers chilled water connections. Chilled water pipes shall be insulated in foam glass type insulation. Chilled water pipes to have aluminum jacketing where needed. Replace existing Taco CBX expansion tank (bladder type). Replace existing Bell & Gossett air separator. Replace Bell & Gossett A-545A flanged circuit setter. Replace check valve (wafer type), Danfoss Flowmatic 888 or approved equal. Replace existing Siemens disconnects with stainless steel all weather enclosures feeding chillers. Replace existing both Square D combination starter disconnect with new Square D combination starter disconnects with stainless steel all weather enclosures. Replace all EMT conduit and liquid tight to chiller components and pumps. Replace all fittings with water tight type.
