Public Works Minor Construction Projects with Costs less than $2,000,000.00

Seminole County is seeking multiple contractors to perform minor construction projects valued less than $2,000,000 for the Public Works Department. No technical specifications or drawings are a part of this solicitation. Technical specifications and drawings (if applicable) will be provided for individual projects issued as specified Work Orders. Authorization for performance of services by Contractors under this Contract shall be in the form of written Work Orders. The resulting Master Services Agreement (MSA) will contain estimated quantities, unit prices, extended totals and total estimated contract amount to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, manpower and other resources, including overhead and profit. These unit prices shall be the means to price all Work Orders issued thereunder. Minimum Qualifications: Prime Contractors must be qualified by the Florida Department of Transportation and confirmed by pre-qualification letter, for the performance of Road, Bridge and Stormwater construction in classes 7. Drainage: Includes all storm drains, pipe culverts, etc. 10. Flexible Paving: Includes lime rock, shell base and other optional base courses, soil-cemented base, mixed-in-place bituminous paving, bituminous surface treatments, and stabilizing. 11. Grading: Includes clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment. The remaining pre-qualification classes can be performed by either the prime or sub-contractors are as follows: 9. Fencing 28. Pavement Marking: Includes delineators, traffic stripe painting and thermoplastics 38. Roadway Signing 39. Traffic Signal 40. Sidewalk 40. Other work classes: Concrete Traffic Separator, Curbs, Driveways, Gutters, Handrails, Milling, Retaining Wall, tree removal, tree-trimming, utility work as described in the bid document. The Bidder must be in business a minimum of 5 years and shall provide the following information regarding experience on a minimum of three (3) similar projects within the past ten (10) years under a contract to a Local Central Florida Government Agency. The bidder must provide the description of the project, owner’s name and start and completion dates for each similar project. The similar projects must be 100% complete.

Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Storm Utility Drainage Piping, Storm Utility Water Drains, Ponds and Reservoirs, Storm Drainage Structures.
