| Description | The Education Cabin at Starved Rock furnace was replaced with a new furnace-AC unit in 2019. The existing electrical service is 100 amp and can not run both the furnace and AC unit. The site is in need for a sanitary separator that will also need to be powered. A new 200-amp electrical service will be run to the Education Building to handle the furnace-A/C and the new separator. The existing electrical service and panel serving the education building will be removed. A new 200A service will be run underground from the existing utility transformer near the main Visitors Center, and the existing electrical panel in the Education Building will be replaced. |
