Dumpster Painting & Repair Services

The City is seeking bids from vendors who will paint and repair the City's front load dumpsters on an as-needed basis. Painting: • Remove any loose paint, dirt, old logos, and rust on the dumpster. The surface must be smoothed, primed, and painted. Repairs: • When dumpster bottoms are being replaced, the vendor must remove the old bottom, replace it with a primed, fabricated bottom with runners and a continuous weld, and must include one new threaded drain hole. • After the new bottom is installed, the dumpsters must be primed and painted. Prime any bare metal and paint the entire dumpster. Paint Specifications The Industrial Enamel paint is a high gloss water reducible alkyd product #73-5126C, Premium Dark Green from Sheboygan Paints. The primer numbers are #71-3123 Gray or #71-71886 Red Oxide. The thickness required is (5) five mils when wet, and (1.5) one and a half mils when dry. The paint must match or closely match current dumpsters. Note: An equivalent quality and color paint will also be considered. Please specify the manufacturer and type of paint being used on the dumpsters. Bidders must upload equivalent paint specifications in the section of this listing labeled “Paint Specifications" for review. The dumpsters must to be picked up by vendor from the Sanitation Division located at 2100 NE 30th Avenue, Building 200, Ocala, FL 34470, and transported off-site for painting and repairs.
