Lake of the Woods 10th Hole Project

Lake of the Woods, a residential community located in Locust Grove, VA, approximately 15 miles west of Fredericksburg is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of the Lake of the Woods Golf Course 10th Fairway Project that includes a stormwater management basin, storm drainage improvements, fairway improvements, sand traps, and a green replacement. As of March 6, 2023, the bidding has closed and contractor selection is underway by the owner. Negotiations for a construction contract will follow in order of ranking and are scheduled to be completed by March 31, 2023. Any bid (including the Total Base Bid plus all Additive Bid Items) which exceeds two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to commence prior to April or May 2023.

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Bases, Ballasts, and Paving, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Curbs, Gutters, Sidewalks, and Driveways, Fences and Gates, Irrigation, Planting Irrigation, Planting Preparation, Turf and Grasses, Plants, Planting Accessories.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks, Sanitary Sewerage Utilities, Storm Utility Water Drains, Ponds and Reservoirs.
