Description

Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County, Washington (District) is requesting submission of qualifications to provide general professional engineering services as needed for civil engineering (geotechnical, hydraulic, structural, dam safety, hydrology, etc.), fire protection, geology, mechanical engineering (machinery, hydraulics, piping, HVAC, compressors, welding, control systems, generators, turbines, etc.), electrical engineering, and surveying and mapping from the time awarded through December 31, 2023. Firms must meet a minimum set of qualifications in order to be considered for evaluation pursuant to RCW 39.80. All necessary information concerning the instructions for preparing proposals is provided in the attached Request for Proposals (RFP). These qualifications are: Must be a registered engineering firm in the State of Washington. Must have provided turbine, generator and hydro power plant engineering services for a minimum of five years. Must have an established office within a circle centered on Ephrata, WA and extending a radial distance of 500 air miles. The District is subject to the disclosure obligations of the Washington Public Records Act of RCW 42.56. The Respondent expressly acknowledges and agrees that its proposal and any information Respondent submits with its proposal is subject to public disclosure pursuant to the Public Records Act or other applicable law and the District may disclose Respondent's proposal and/or accompanying information at its sole discretion in accordance with its obligations under applicable law. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
