Design Build Project: 10.03 miles of hot mix asphalt resurfacing and reconstruction on I-94; resurfacing of I-94 from west of Helmer Road to 6 Mile Road and from east of I-94BL (Michigan Avenue) to west of 17 Mile Road; replacement of nine structures and the rehabilitation of eight structures including profile changes at the I-94 at Capital Avenue interchange to improve underclearance; reconstruction of I-94 over and under select bridges; paving of various ramps; guardrail upgrades, pavement markings, drainage improvements; and reconstruction of the rest area parking lot in the city of Battle Creek, Emmet and Marshall townships, Calhoun County. This project includes a 5 year materials and workmanship pavement warranty, a 3 year materials and workmanship pavement warranty, a 5 year warranty for thin epoxy polymer bridge deck overlay, a 2 year warranty on concrete surface coating, and a 2 year warranty on bridge coating.
