Description | The City of Whitehall Police Department Addition and Renovation project has engaged Jerome M. Scott Architects to provide overall site master planning services, design and construction administration for this project. The City of Whitehall Police Department Addition and Renovation project has also engaged Concord Addis to perform Owners Representative Services. The project is currently in the schematic design of the project, with an updated construction cost estimate in progress to assess design against budget. City of Whitehall Police Department Addition and Renovation project reserves the right to reject any proposal submitted or request additional information from any bidder. City of Whitehall Police Department Addition and Renovation project reserves the right to cancel the project before entering into a binding contract for the project work The term of any contractual agreement developed through this RFP process shall be for an approximate period of 4 months for preconstruction, 12 months of construction, and 3 months of closeout. The target construction completion is end of 2023 The City of Whitehall Police Department Addition and Renovation project is looking to engage a Construction Manager to perform pre-construction and construction services General Obligation Bond to fund a 9,000 square foot renovation and a 13,000 square foot expansion of the police station. The project will include upgrades to the dispatch center, training room, firing range, workstations, fleet garage and property room. Additionally, the lobby and reception area will also be redesigned. See attached EXHIBIT A - Design Documents.
