Regional Tolling Infrastructure Maintenance Services

The Bay Area Toll Authority (BATA) invites your firm to submit a proposal for Regional Tolling Infrastructure Maintenance Services. This RFP is a combination of the Bay Area Toll Authoritys (BATA’s) Bridge Toll Facilities Maintenance Services and the Bay Area Infrastructure Financing Authority’s (BAIFA’s) Express Lanes Maintenance Services to select one (1) Contractor to perform both scopes of work under one (1) contract. This RFP requires the selected contractor to provide management and maintenance services over a large service territory, including 24/7 on-call and emergency services, freeway traffic control, and utility marking from USA requests, within a specified response time. In general, the scope of services includes providing comprehensive management and maintenance services of tolling related infrastructure and assets at the seven (7) state-owned bridge toll facilities on a scheduled and as-needed basis. It also includes providing comprehensive management and maintenance services of freeway Express Lanes infrastructure on a scheduled and as-needed basis. The work will focus on I-680, I-880, and US-101 Express Lane segments that are operational, with additional segments to be added as they become operational or at the request of the Project Manager.
