| Description | The Iowa Highway 141 SB & Iowa Highway 44 Traffic Signal and Turn Lane Improvements Project is located on the Southbound off ramp of Hwy 141 and Hwy 44 (First Street) in Grimes, Iowa. The project includes intersection signalization and ramp widening improvements. The improvements include construction of traffic signals, approximately 640 CY of Class 10 excavation, 42 SY of pavement removal, 441 SY of 9” PCC pavement, 74 SY of 6” PCC shared use path and ADA ramps, traffic control, 15.7 STA durable pavement markings with grooves cut, erosion control, 10 LF 48” RCP culvert extension, 188 LF of temporary barrier rail and miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project |
