| Description | Approximately 38,940 S.Y. of Type A Bituminous Fiber Reinforced Seal Coat followed by a Bituminous Seal Coat. Old Dominion Road: Harmony Grove Road to end of cul-de-sac; 370' x 28' wide (1,300 SY). Surface Condition Rating "C" and ADT >100.Contractor shall be responsible for temporary traffic control in accordance with PennDOT Publication 213. The cost thereof shall be incorporated into each bid item, as required. No separate payment will be made. The Township will not assist Contractor with temporary traffic control. Appropriate sections of the roadway may be closed to trhough traffic during work hours, if prior approval is obtained from the Township, but the road must be reopened at the end of each work day.Pine Hill Road: Harmony Grove Road to Township Line; 1,170' x 18' wide (2,340 SY). Surface Condition Rating "D" and ADT >100 Item 1A:Type A Bituminous Fiber Reinforced Seal Coat followed by a Bituminous Seal Coat: Furnish equipment, labor and materials to construct a Type A Bituminous Fiber Reinforced Seal Coat (BFRSC) in accordance with PennDOT Publication 447 - MS-0350-0018 and a Bituminous Seal Coat in accordance with PennDOT Form 408 - Section 470. Bituminous material shall be CRS-2PM and AASHTO No. 8 aggregate (1% washed) shall be utilized. Bituminous material and coarse aggregate application rates shall be as determined by the Contractor's mix design. Mix design shall be in accordance with PennDOT Bulletin 27, Appendix E and shall be submitted to the Engineer for review at least one week prior to the start of construction. Prior to providing a mix design, the Contractor shall perform a site visit and acknowledge that they agree with the surface condition ratings provided herein. There shall be 3 to 5 days between completion of the BFRSC and placement of the Bituminous Seal Coat. All aggregates shall be SRL-L | ||||||
