Description

Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Bidding and Contract Documents and must be accompanied by references of similar projects and a Bid Security in the form of a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Bank Check in the amount of (10%) ten percent The project involves the exterior restoration, site improvements and interior renovation of the stone Barn and Carriage House as shown in the Contract Documents. NOTICE: Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors This project is funded in part by grants from: Environmental Protection Fund (EPF) grant administered by the NYS Office of Park, Recreation and Historic Preservation Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) grant administered by the NYS Housing Trust Fund Corporation Save Americas Treasures Grant administered by the National Park Service, Department of the Interior. Under Article 15A, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women Owned Business (MWBE) equal opportunity to participate in government contracts. The following goals have been set for this project: For EPF funded portion: 13% MBE and 17% WBE For DRI funded portions: MBE: 20% and WBE: 10% The successful bidder may be required to furnish reports showing the participation of various business enterprises of subcontractors and suppliers on the contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond each for 100% of the amount of the Contract Construction Start (flexible & no sooner than) 6/28/2024 Substantial Completion 8/30/2024 The completion date for this project is August 30, 2024.
