| Description | Remove and dispose of one course of 3 tab asphalt shingles and underlayment from the main roof of the public works building approx. 13,100 sf, 4/12 pitch roof . Replace any defective sheathing with plywood of equal thickness.All plywood will be ring-shank nailed or screwed with a min penetration of 1 ½ inches into support structure and H clipped. Replace drip edge and all flashings, Replace underlayment with ice and watershield at the eave (2 courses with appropriate overlap) and gable ends (1 course) The remainder of theunderlayment shall be a breathable synthetic (GAF Deck Armor or similar). Roofing shall be Tan architectural grade shingles with a minimum manufacturer’s warrantee of 30 years. |
