Flight Test Apron Hill Air Force Base

The contractor will be responsible to replace existing Portland cement concrete (PCC) slabs in sections A36B, A45Bl, A45B2, and A52B, along with full reconstruction of structural base materials to include the addition of a coarse aggregate base with a drainage and separation layer, as required for seasonal frost conditions. Demolition includes but is not limited to the removal of existing apron PCC slabs, and adjacent PCC drainage swale. The selected contractor will also provide anchored tie-downs and pavement markings on new apron. All facilities will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with the DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 3-260-02, UFC 3-260-01) and AFI 32-1042. Work also includes installing underdrain pipe, storm water manhole structures, providing grounding points and pavement markings on new apron pavement and replacing existing aircraft sunshade structures.
