Classroom Addition at Wesley D. Tisdale Elementary School

New work generally consists of the construction of a 6,252+/-sf classroom addition to the elementary school. The building structure is concrete footings with load bearing masonry cavity walls with masonry veneer. The roof structure is steel open web joist supported by masonry walls with an insulated PVC roof. All major services will be provided to the building...sewer, electric, water, gas from the existing building. The building construction will span 14 months from April 2020 to July 2021. There are alternate bids for radon and fenestration work. Sitework includes a new paver plaza and some additional asphalt drives , along with extensive storm water systems. The mechanical design includes a series unit ventilators in each classroom, which will be ducted throughout the classroom. Finishes include standard 2x2 ceilings, VCT, LVT and Terrazzo flooring.
