US 12/Walla Walla River Bridge - Bridge Painting

The existing steel surfaces on the US 12 Walla Walla River Bridge near Wallula require cleaning and painting to delay deterioration. Clean and paint the structure to preserve the structural integrity and extend the service life of the bridge. As of April 11, 2023, this project is in Design status. Preliminary engineering has begun and environmental design is expected to be complete in the Third quarter of 2024. The contract advertisement is expected in Fourth quarter of 2024 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the Fourth quarter of 2025.
