Description

The scope of work for this project includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for 1" hot in-place recycling of all travel lanes followed by a 1.5" fiber reinforced overlay and installation of thickened edges. The entire project length is about 15.8 miles. Major project work includes approximately: 25,269 tons of asphaltic concrete placed, 199,164 square yards of hot in-place pavement recycling, and 1,468 square yards of pavement remove and replace sections with geogrid. Other associated work includes: reconstruction of 690 feet of embankment curb, shoulder build-up and grading, removal and installation of approximately 800 feet of new MGS guardrail with 16 new MSKT TL-3 guardrail terminal end treatments and 4 Thrie-Beam guardrail transitions to concrete bridge, adjusting 1,611 feet existing guardrail height by raising blocks, removal of 6 existing cattle guards, and reinstallation of 5 new pre-cast cattle guards. This project also includes driveway, side road and mainline matches, installation of flexible delineator assemblies and concrete foundations for square tube sign posts, and restoration of 15.8 miles of roadway striping and markings.
