| Description | Product shall be a high molecular weight cationic polyelectrolyte, Allied Colloid 778 or equal, manufactured as a flocculent for the existing poly handling and feed system at the Tuscaloosa Wastewater Treatment Plant. Polymer shall dissolve readily in water to produce a solution of high viscosity. It shall exhibit a very high cationic charge density. Polymer shall be designed specifically as a flocculent for “waste activated sludge” and “anaerobically digested” municipal waste. |
