South Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Aerator Addition

A. The Work is located at the following Site: 1. South Central WWTP - 5400 Fouts Mill Road, Douglasville, GA 30135 B. The Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, constructing the Work described below and all appurtenances related to the Work. The Work shall be as follows: 1. Installation of Owner furnished aeration equipment: one mixer in each of two aeration basins, DO meters, transmitters, and VFD panels. 2. Modification of existing control panel to accommodate new aeration controls. 3. Construction of two walkways (one per basin) for access to new DO meters located as shown in Contract Drawings. 4. Associated electrical work and new duct bank. 5. Testing and startup. South Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Aerator Addition for Douglasville. Qualified contractors for the performance of the South Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Aerator Addition Project (the Project), as more fully described in the Invitation for Bids. The scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be turn key and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel. The work to be performed shall include: 1. Installation of Owner furnished aeration equipment: one mixer in each of two aeration basins, DO meters, transmitters, and VFD panels. 2. Modification of existing control panel to accommodate new aeration controls. 3. Construction of two walkways (one per basin) for access to new DO meters located as shown in Contract Drawings. 4. All work will be performed on Authority owned property. All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the Project have been obtained.
