Repaving of Chisman Creek Park

The County of York, Virginia (Owner) is seeking the services of a professional contractor to repave the asphalt parking lot at Chisman Creek Park, as specified in this Invitation for Bids and all other related Contract Documents Repaving of the asphalt parking lot at Chisman Creek Park shall include, but not be limited to, the following Scope of Work, as described in the Drawings and other Contract Documents: The edges of the existing pavement shall be milled to create a smooth transition between the overlay and existing pavement. Petro Mat shall be installed on top of existing asphalt parking lot to create a layer that will bridge the cracks and prevent re-emergence of the cracks in the future. 2" asphalt overlay shall be installed atop the Petro Mat. The parking lot shall be laid out and striped in accordance with the existing layout. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, protection, testing and inspections, construction site protection, construction waste management, and project supervision services, to complete the Project in accordance with this Invitation for Bids document, all referenced contract drawings and specifications, including all other subsequent issued addenda and related documents. Final Completion: Ten (10) calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed for construction. All questions shall be submitted in writing (email is preferred). Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Liquidated Damages: $250.00 per calendar days after time for Final Completion has expired.
