| Description | Bids from qualified contractors, for the removal of existing cooling tower and installation of a new Owner furnished steel base and cooling tower at Coal Ridge Middle School. Construction Scope of Work: • Isolate and demo associated piping, electrical, and controls to facilitate removal of existing cooling tower. • Demo, removal, and disposal of existing EVAPCO model # AT 29-221 cooling tower. • Rework existing structural steel to accommodate new cooling tower steel base (OFCI). • Rework existing piping, electrical, and controls to accommodate the new cooling tower. • Provide and install cooling tower fan motor VFDs. • Load and haul new cooling tower (OFCI) from SVVSD facility to site. • Install new cooling tower (OFCI). • Reconnect all associated piping, electrical, and controls. • Facilitate startup and commissioning activity with the tower manufacturer. |
