Business-Industrial Park at Inverness Airport

Citrus County, Florida ("County") invites interested parties to submit a bid to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals to perform all work necessary to construct elements associated with the Business-Industrial Park at the Inverness Airport (INF) in Inverness Florida. The project will consist of a BASE BID, four (4) ADDITIVE BIDs and GOPHER TORTOISE REMOVAL AND RELOCATION included in the Project Mobilization with additional phasing details on Sheet G400 "CONSTRUCTION SAFETY AND PHASING PLAN (CSPP)" of the construction plans: Project mobilization including removal and relocation of 25 gopher tortoises, shop drawing submittals, approvals, procurement of materials, permits, and installation of temporary traffic control devices. The BASE BID includes 45 acres of clearing and grubbing, 256LF 36" and 515LF 24" Class III RCP stormwater utility installation, associated site prep, dewatering, site grading, and new fence installation within the landside portion of the industrial park. One thousand ninety tons of new asphaltic concrete pavement associated base and subgrade preparation and both temporary and permanent roadway markings within the new industrial park area are also included. A new pump station and associated support equipment, water and sewer utilities are also included in addition to electrical and communications. ADDITIVE BID 1 includes clearing and grubbing along the western aeronautical portion of the industrial park and construction of the balance of roadways within the new Industrial Park. ADDITIVE BID 2 includes clearing and grubbing and seeding within the aeronautical portion of the Industrial Park. ADDITIVE BID 3 constructs 1,295LF of new FDOT pre-cast screen wall, foundation system and associated clearing, grubbing, tree removal and seeding along the western portion of the industrial park. ADDITIVE BID 4 involves 6,550 SY of asphalt milling, new asphalt pavement overlay and striping of the rehabilitated existing asphalt entrance road. All work shall be in accordance with the construction drawings, technical specifications, and Contract Documents. The awarded bidder shall adhere to all permit(s) requirements, and all Federal, State and Local laws/rules/codes as applicable to this Project. Deadline for Questions August 26, 2022 4:00pm
