Dogwood Culvert - PWSTBG11 - City of Harrisonburg

The existing box culvert along Dogwood Drive between Hillandale Avenue and Cedar Street has developed a hole in the top surface. Public Works has temporarily placed a steel plate over the damaged section of box culvert and performed an engineering analysis of the structure. It has been determined that the box culvert should be replaced, as it has reached the end of its useful life. This project is in included in the City of Harrisonburg FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of July 05, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
