Description

As of May 2, 2023, an architect has been selected. Further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. The project is included in the City of Rome 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). A firm timeline for construction has not been established. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. The project includes a new addition to the Rome City Hall building at 198 North Washington Street, infilling an existing breezeway on the ground floor. Work will include demolition of existing curtainwall, excavation for new foundations, and construction of a new 3,500 sf space with new entry, lobby, community room, and restrooms, and security upgrades throughout the building.
