Description | This Project includes: PROFESSIONAL SELECTIONS. PROJECT TITLE: Bellefonte State Fish Hatchery, Pleasant Gap State Fish Hatchery, Benner Spring State Fish Hatchery, Tylersville State Fish Hatchery - Hatchery Rehabilitation Project BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, is to improve the fish hatchery facilities to enhance the Commonwealth's aquatic resources and provide fishing and boating opportunities. Improvements in production, safety, efficiency and aesthetics for agency staff and visitors are prioritized targets for this project. The Department of General Services Capital Programs and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. Applicants now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals. Refer to the project e-builder solicitation folder for instructions regarding Small Diverse Business and Veteran Business Enterprise participation. The Goals for SDB participation: 14% (Bellefonte,Benner,Pleasant Gap) 0% (Tylersville) The Goals for VBE participation: 3% (Bellefonte,Benner,Pleasant Gap) 0% (Tylersville) ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF SHORT-LISTED FIRMS: The following information will need to be provided: detailed resumes for key design and management personnel with references; the firm's approach to the project, including descriptions of tasks and scope of services, and an explanation of how the approach provides value to the Commonwealth; a detailed description from the firm's portfolio of a project that illustrates the firm's ability to translate design intentions into a solution that meets the client's needs and expectations; an organizational chart and detailed work plan, identifying key personnel roles and percent of time assigned to the project; an explanation of how the firm assures high quality bidding documents; examples of relevant projects completed by the lead design professional and key personnel, with contact information for references for these projects; an assessment of key project issues and risks to the project; identification of special investigations, studies or testing that may be required; a description of how diversity will be accomplished within the team; evidence of financial capability; a list of professional liability claims and/or legal actions within the last ten years and a non-binding fee proposal.
