Design-Build Services Hayden Lawn Remediation

The proposed Hayden Lawn Remediation project is located in the heart of the Tempe Campus, just west of the Hayden Library Tower. This project will demolish the existing lantern structure, strip off the existing grass, stockpile the soil , remove the irrigation, the existing insulation and waterproofing over the below grade Hayden Library Building. In addition, the project will remove all sidewalks in the project area. Trees in the project area are to remain and must be protected out to their drip lines. New work includes filling the opening left by removal of the lantern structure, waterproofing the new and existing deck, two layers of 2” rigid insulation, a second layer of waterproofing, replacing stockpiled soil, irrigation, sod and new sidewalks. New sod must be watered until grass is established.
