Description

The purpose of this project is to reconstruct and reconfigure a structurally failing and deteriorated handicap ramp and railings allow safe passage for the disabled for residents needing to do business within Olyphant Borough Building. The project will include the removal of the deteriorated switchback designed wooden ramp, wooden steps, and supports. The entire structure will be replaced with new stairs and steps, metal non-slip treads, and an ADA Handicap Lift. A new entrance will be constructed, and the existing platform and deck made of wood needs to be replaced with metal steps and decking to accommodate the latest ADA Standards.
