2021 Road Paving Project

The scope of work to be performed is generally described as paving the following roads in montgomery township. 1. Bain Road (T318) From royer road to the maryland line. place a bituminous material leveling/scratch course of approximately 2 inches in depth. place 1.5 inches of a wearing course compacted. place with one full width pass. the length of the roadway is approximately 6730 feet in length and approximately 18 feet wide. shoulder widening and base repairs are approximately 13,460 feet long, 10 inches depth, and 4 feet long, 10 inches depth, and 4 feet wide. compact, place 5" of PA/2A stone, compact, then place 5" of 25mm compacted on shoulder width. shoulder back up to be included in bid price, with material to be supplied by the township. 2. Ditto Road (T322) From royer road to the maryland line. place bituminous material leveling/Scratch course of approximately 2 inches in depth and approximately 1.5 inches of a wearing course compacted. placed with one full width pass. the length of the roadway is approximately 3645 feet in length and approximately 18 feet wide. shoulder widening and base repairs are approximately 7290 feet long, 10 inches depth, and 4 feet wide. compact, place 5" of PA/2A stone, compact, then place 5" of 25mm compacted on shoulder width. shoulder back up to be included in bid price, with material to be supplied by the township
