Main Street Water Main Replacement Project

As of September 14, 2022, the project has been awarded, however, information regarding the awarded general contractor has not been confirmed at this time. Main Street Water Main Replacement Project, which includes installation of approximately 12,500 linear feet of 12-inch to 6-inch water main, appurtenances, and related gate valves, hydrants, fittings, service connections; and all materials and equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. The Work shall be substantially complete within 230 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time and completed and ready for final payment within 450 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time. The Project is funded in part with monies made available by the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) and is to be funded in part by the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust and compliance with EPA, MassDEP/DMS provisions and policies and Davis-Bacon Act and wage requirements is required. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goals are applicable to the total dollars paid under the resulting construction Contract. The goals for this Project are a minimum of 4.20 percent D/MBE participation and 4.50 percent D/WBE participation by certified DBEs.
