Solid Waste Dumpster Repairs and Refurbishments

1. Vendor shall transport containers to its facility. The City of Homestead will incur NO transportation charges provided that they ship a full load of containers (Minimum of 7-15 containers). 2. Once at the repair facility, the containers will be serial numbered, repairs to each individual container identified and measured for a replacement bottom. An 11 gauge HR plate replacement bottom with 8” sides will be manufactured to the exact measurement. The rusted bottom will be removed at approximately 7” above ground level and the new bottom will then be installed on each container using continuous weld. 3. Any other needed repairs will also be made to the container at that time. (Pocket repairs, lid tabs, channel repairs, etc.) 4. Container to be scraped and painted green unless specified other color. 5. Size Classification- size of container #’s 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 to be painted in orange color on the top right corner. 6. Upon receiving authorization to return the containers, vendor will deliver containers back to the City. 7. Vendor is responsible to provide all necessary equipment to load and off-load containers to Solid Waste 548 SE 6th Avenue Homestead, FL 33030.
