Description | The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Carpet and Vinyl Tile Replacement Services. Bids must address all of the services described in Exhibit A entitled, Scope of Work that is included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. Exhibit A contains a detailed description of the services and work to be performed as a result of this IFB including those terms in the referenced exhibits. 1. License Requirement: Contractors State License Board (CSLB) C-15, Flooring and Floor Covering Contractors. 2. DIR Registration: Bidders must be registered with the DIR Pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 1770, 1773 and 1773.1. 3. DVBE participation mandatory 4. Prevailing Wage Rates apply. California Highway Patrol will, A. Provide a staging area for the storage of relocated equipment, furniture and boxes. B. Provide an area for onsite storage of the waste bin. C. Disconnect and relocate all computers and related equipment. D. Pack and prepare for relocation of CHP employee's personal items. E. Disconnect and prepare all movable computer equipment for relocation The term of the resulting agreement is expected to be effective from May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024 Questions Due February 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. California Law Requires Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise participation. All bidders for this solicitation, must meet the minimum DVBE participation requirement of 5%. Bidders are eligible to receive a DVBE incentive for their participation.
