Construction Inspection Services for Roadway and Bridge Reconstruction from Mp A38 to A43

Provide construction inspection services for the Roadway and Bridge Reconstruction from Milepost A38 to A43. This project involves the widening and reconstruction of approximately five (5) miles of the Northeast Extension (I-476) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Salford Township, Montgomery County and West Rockhill and Milford Townships, Bucks County. The existing four (4) lane roadway (74 foot width) will be reconstructed to accommodate three (3) 12-foot travel lanes in each direction, a 26-foot wide median, and 12-foot wide outside shoulders. The project also includes the removal and replacement of five (5) mainline bridges, lengthening of culverts, construction of retaining walls, and construction of stormwater management and other drainage improvements throughout the project limits. Only one construction contract is anticipated for this work.
