Description

As of June 2, 2022 This project is awarded to McDonald Excavating Inc. with awarded amount of $700,650.39. The Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 1,669 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron, 95 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron, and 1,014 linear feet of 4-inch ductile iron water main. Also, furnish and install fire hydrant assemblies, fittings, valves and all appurtenances as shown on the plans and specified herein. The Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 364 linear feet of 8-inch diameter ASTM 3034 PVC gravity sewer main, 213 linear feet of AWWA C-900 PVC gravity sewer main, one 48-inch diameter sewer manhole, and three sewer cleanouts. The sewer will be installed within the existing City of Vancouver right-of-way, including all laterals, manholes, and all appurtenances as shown on the plans and specified herein. This work will include the removal and disposal of 577 linear feet of 6-inch diameter gravity sewer main and four sewer cleanouts. Pavement restoration is to be performed by others. The Contractor shall restore the road with Temporary Surfacing (not to exceed 0.10) where trenching takes place as specified herein. All work shall be in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The contract work shall be fully complete within 30 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed and must be physically complete by July 29, 2022. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
