For: ORCHARD ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Township of Montgomery is accepting bids For the ORCHARD ROAD IMPROVEMENTS which includes base pavement repairs, milling, HMA resurfacing, concrete sidewalk, ADA-compliant pedestrian curb ramps, curb repairs, drainage inlet repairs, detours/temporary traffic control measures, traffic signage, pavement striping, soil compaction mitigation, lawn restoration, and associated work on portions of Orchard Road (Township segment: Community Drive [formerly Headquarters Park Drive] to Route 206, County segment: Route 206 to Bridgepoint Road). Approximate Major Pay Items Include: Dense Graded Aggregate Base Course, Var. Thickness 369 TONS Sealing of Cracks in Existing Hot Mix Asphalt 1,000 LF HMA Milling, 3" or Less 9,737 SY Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course 1,107 TONS Repair Inlet 13 UNIT Concrete Sidewalk, 4" Thick 1,134 SY Concrete Island, 4" Thick 69 SY Detectable Warning Surface 15 SY Curb (Concrete Vertical, Sloping, or Granite Block) 422 LF Traffic Stripes, Thermoplastic, 4" Wide 8,343 LF Traffic Stripes, Thermoplastic, 24" Wide 963 LF Traffic Markings, Thermoplastic 760 SF Regulatory and Warning Signs 325 SF.
