The Base Bid consists of the construction of an earthen dam, principal spillway, auxiliary spillway related appurtenances on Galloway Creek. The project site area is located just outside of the City Limits of West Plains, Missouri. Sealed bids for the construction of the Galloway Creek Regional Detention Stormwater Improvements project, located just outside the city limits west of the intersection of Underground Drive and Division Drive behind the Missouri Department of Social Services Office in West Plains, Howell County, Missouri, will be received by the City of West Plains, Missouri, at the City Hall building located at 1910 Holiday Lane, West Plains, Missouri 65775. Bids received will be returned unopened. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 20 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Davis Bacon andor State Prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246.
